Over 100 hits since last night

Thats right! I've had over 100 hits on my blog since last night! CRAZY!
That prompts me to ask myself
"who are all you people?"
Obviously people of incredible taste as my mother always said! =)
So I made up a little poll of questions to kind of get an idea as to why I have so many hits.
Granted some of those hits are mine b/c I use my own blog as a launch point to stalk so many other blogs. Thats actually on of the questions too.
This blog started off as just somewhere for me to posts pictures of the kids since both our families are so far away. But in this last year it has also become therapy for me.
I love that you love coming to visit me here.
If I can get an idea as to why....
actually I have no idea what I would do with that information! hahahaha

Hey feel free to hit the "Follow" button on the right of the screen.
Surely my 16 followers didnt make up those 100 hits.

Mini Photo Shoot

I loved this color yellow on Sydney. When I told her I wanted to take a picture of her
had no idea I was releasing a monster.
She is a cute monster though.
I got the shirt at Target. thanks to the heads up Jenessa, it was only $3.50.
the super cute jeans she's got on came from my sisters girls handme downs.
Gotta love having older cousins.
And ofcourse what outfit would be complete with out gold sparkle shoes!!

My Handsome Little Man

My friend Jessica was the most recent friend to get a really nice camera.
So jealous but I dont think Josh will let me get a camera like that till the kids are in highschool!
Here's a pic she took of Lincoln at the Rock Throwing party. She said she edited it some. With a little guy this handsome you dont have to edit much!

T-shirts into bags

So do you have a shirt your son or daughter just loves but if you see it on them one more time your going to throw up?Well Sydney does! I ran across a tutorial on how to make tshirts into bags and I knew just which shirt i was going to use. This is a hand me down shirt from my friend Keri. It was love at first site for Sydney. It is too small for her now but refuses to let it go.
The stripey shirt I found when I was digging through looking for the princess one. I thought it would be cute for a bag. So all you do is cut the arm off and the neck. I then sigsagged stitched around the cut edges. Then turn the shirt inside out and sew the bottom closed.
pull the corners in to box the bottom out. (I have no idea how to explain that)
But thats it. Little bags. And ofcourse I have to say something about my beautiful model. Actually theres nothing to say the pics speak for themselves. Wow does she take after me. I had a flash back to making my friend Theresa pose with me for pics when we were little girls. Elementary days. Remember that Theresa? My long flowing ratty hair and your sweet stretch pants.
I was such a bossy kid and I see Sydney doing it already.
Oh what the future holds for her.....
I dont know if you can see all her makeup on. Lipgloss I guess is a multi function makeup necessity. She uses it on her lips eyes and cheeks.
Sydney is obsessed with my shoes. And who wouldnt be, I love them too!!
I've had to hide my recent purchase. (my shoes from kohls)

Chik-fil-a and good friends

Spider Man
Isaac with one of his besties! Joey is such a sweet heart and is so patient with Isaac!
Our little football player! I dont even know that he knows what football is but he loves it none the less. Reminds me of Josh who had a born love for the game. We'll see.
Oh and heaven help me with Sydney. She reminds me so much of me! Look at that pose! Oh my goodness! Josey is a little girl who lives next to us and I constently have to keep Sydney from bossing her around. Sometimes I dont know why she eve wants to play over here.
Dont get me wrong Sydney is very sweet and creative but man can she boss!

Interesting Things I've Learned...

So I've pick up a few new things in the last 6 months and I thought I'd share them with you. Well some I've been doing longer but I found out from friends that they didnt know these tricks. So here they are.

Ok so I have become a HUGE Kandee Johnson fan. If you dont know her you can just type her name into youtube and she'll pop up. She's a Hollywood makeup artist and cute as a button!
I have a horrible time with dark circles. HAHAHA I am a mother of 3 under 6 cant imagine why I'd have dark circles. Well Kandee gives a great tutorial on how to conceal them. I've put her tips into to practice and they work WONDERS!!!!
Usually I wind up looking like I have white or yellow circles under my eyes but with the way she does it.... miracles happen. Click play and watch the video.

I now use Olive Oil to take my make up off. Seriously it was buy one get one free the other day at Publix so I have a HUGE bottle of Bertollis OO on my bathroom sink. You just pour some on a cotton pad and wipe your make up off. It will leave a thick layer of oil so you just use your regular face wash next. I use those face cloths, you know you get them wet and rub them till they're soapy. After that I use my Proactive toner
(yes I caved like the rest of the female world) .
Whats crazy was that the toner pad always came away with makeup on it no matter how thorough I was in washing but with the OO it comes away clean.
Then I put on my night time face lotion by Garneir and my eye cream by bare escentuals.
Its always taken me a long time to get ready for bed just ask my mom. But it gives me wind down time and really helps when I do a routine.
I try to do Yoga but after that roach scare (whole nother story) I havnt been too inclined.

My new favorite mouth wash... 1/2 a cap of Listerine and fill the rest up with Hydorgine Peroxide. Yep you read right. It says right on the bottle that you can put it in your mouth. I had no idea. It works WONDERS! And yes it will bubble up a lot and thats why I do it before brushing. It leaves your teeth feeling slimy if you do it last. But brush after swishing and your teeth will be squicky clean. I think mine are starting to look whiter too.

This product from Benefit is worth every penny you might spend. Anyone I use it on just loves it. No its not a nail polish, its a highlighter. You know how actresses always have this super shiny transluscent color right below their brows? Its stuff like this. Its also put down the center of your nose to make it look straighter or on the tops of your cheek bones looks amazing too. It just adds that little touch that everyone notices but they dont know exactly what they are noticing. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
$24 at ulta.com but I'm sure you can find it cheaper on Ebay or somewhere else online.
Its worth it!

I've started to fill in my brows. I dont have any tips about it but its something new I'm doing and i love it too! The first couple times I did I felt everyone was looking at me b/c of my fake brows. But Josh says they just look too perfect to be natural but they look natural. Get it?

Another great thing is Lip Stain. I've talked about it before but I'm still loving it. Lots of Cosmetic lines carry it now but I love Revlon's Just Bitten. i have one of those in Gothic. This pic actually is featuring Gothic on the bottom lip. It comes with a great lip conditioner. You will have to apply it again 1/2 through the day. But if its just for the night, you'll be set. CG Outlast lip color seriously dried my lips out.
They dont give you a conditioner with it and lip gloss just doesnt cut it.
Now if you want one that has serious staying power go for Loreal Infallible. You apply that to your lips and let it dry for a few minutes before you condition it. be careful putting it on too b/c you have to use oil based makeup remover to get it off. I have it in "Target" red (only sold at target and Hibiscus which is a pearly pink.

I'll see about doing another post like this if anyone cares. Fell free to comment on my Facebook. I dont have comments on my blog b/c I dont want to hear from Crazy People. but If your friends with me on FB thats a different story. You still might be crazy but your obviously my kind of Crazy! lol

New Picasa find thanks to Little Miss Mama

You can make a Collage on Picasa! this makes it a lot easier for me to break down my outfits. Also I dont feel like I'm plastering pics of me all the way down the post.
You can double click the pic to enlarge it, that way its easier to read where and how much I spent.
This was an outfit I wore a couple weeks ago to church.
I stalked those pumps for months and finally scored them on clearance.
HAPPY DAY!!

Broke down and used Josh's camera....

So this out fit totaled out to be $15.00.
I didnt count the pants b/c they are like 10 years old. I go through weight shifts. I can always tell by putting these pants on. They have been too small more times then they have fit. Dont get me wrong... I'll still lay down on the bed and force the zipper up. lol
Right now they are a perfect fit. I love the length. Because seriously my $1 shoes are about 4 inches tall.
I was going to give a break down of the makeup I had on. Thats what the above collage was suppose to be about, But man did it look better in person... I swear it did.
The lighting was horrible. And I still havnt found my camera charger so I was using Josh's camera. Not the same. Especially since I dont have a timer on his phone so he had to take the pics. Its much more awkward when someone else is taking them instead of you in your own world with no one looking.
I still posted this though because Isaac cracks me up!
I think he was a little hungry by the way he was shoving that PBJ into his mouth,
what do you think?

My new favorite sweater!! It was marked down to $4.50 at Target, normally $20. I got this one in small but two others in large. They are so soft. The other two are Grey/white and Brown.

Going Crazy...

So since our return from our Disney Trip we can not find our camera charger! Its driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I cant take pics of any of the cute stuff the kids have been doing. Not too worried about the wardrobe because that hasnt really been happening! lol
I'm lucky if I get a shower everyday. In fact I'm working on every other day. Now that my hair is long enough to pull back into a sad little pony tail thats where its been every other day.
So I'm going to try and call Panasonic and see if I can order another charger since I havnt had much luck in finding one on the web.
Till then....

Little girl's mic dies

I love how the audience joins in and truly supports this talented little girl. Sad that we didnt get to hear her much practiced high note. Oh and who was the lady that laughed when her mic went out? Assuming it must be someone she knows since they are sitting so close to the camera man.
Jokes on the old lady though because she was recorded laughing and the whole world gets to hear her!

Little Miss Mama Blog

So there's a blog I follow and absolutely LOOOVVVEEE! You can find it to the right of my posts in my Stalking list. So she had someone comment on her blog and this is the response I posted.
Now I know that putting ourselves out there in blog world is very exposing and vulnerable.
Heck I had some crazy lady commenting on my post and then when I took my comments off she emailed me! WHAT!
With that said.... if your going to comment on someones blog be positive. What the phase
"If you dont have something nice to say dont say anything at all!

This comment is for #45 Stacey.
I too am a bubbly stylish outgoing and damn amazing woman. I too struggle with mental health ie. ADD, anxiety and depression. There definelty can be polar opposites inside a person. It sounds like you might be in the mental health field so I would think you would have this understanding already. I get you werent trying to be mean but seriously maybe that "honest"question should've been posed to her in a private email or just go get some books and read up on. Everyone has a different way of dealing with insecurities or issues wit in themselves. Mine manifest in anxiety/panic attacks.
Just b/c LLM has a health issue does not define her as an individual! Its not something she personally has chosen to do.
I dont choose to have panic attacks.
I LOVE you Little Miss Mama!!! I think in revealing your secret, you have become a real individual to me and someone who deserves respect for the courage shown. No one can look at another person and think that they are perfect. We never know the struggles another individual goes through.

New Years Eve

We spent New years eve over at your neighbors house. the Cardona Family has been here 2 years now and I'm going to miss them soooo much when we move.
The kids were so excited about the party that we went over at 8 and it didnt start till 9. (really not until after midnight) But the kids danced for a while so Lincoln felt like he was at a party.
The bandaid is from a miss happen break dance move. He kept trying it after the fact. The kids got some rhythm. I have to basically tie him down to keep him out of Isaac's dance class.
Anyways, we took him home for bed and I slapped some lashes and makeup on. Did soemething with my hair and headed back. Not fast enough though. The 2 older kids were hounding me the whole time. They didnt wasnt to miss anything!
THIS is Lina. She is in Isaac's class and her family is also good friends of the Cardonas. Isnt she the cutest. I put her on here to give you an idea of the cute girls that were "all about Isaac" that night. Wow I am not ready for that. Both Lina and her little friend (i dont have a pic of) have little Crushes on Isaac. Innocent enough... they all had a great time connecting with each others DSs and gaming all night. I guess you can chat back and forth too.
Man did I ever get schooled by a 6 year old. I had no idea it did all that. Our Family shared "mom's" Game Boy played Tetric! lol
Right before midnight we were all given a little piece of paper to write down 3 things from the year that we want to get ride of. Anxiety, yelling, and others people's jealousies.
And three things you want to come to you in the new year. Sex, patience, and faith.
I dont think I was suppose to share what I wrote but oh well.

Then you tie it to your balloon. josh and I shared ours and then added Sydney's to it after her balloon flew away.
Then you get your celebratory drink and your cup of 12 grapes.
Each grape represents a month in the new year. When you eat a grape you make a wish.
Now that we had everything, we all went outside to the parking lot and waited for the count down.
Masks and noise makers a plenty! It was really fun and exciting sharing that time with so many wonderful people. Josh and I hadnt stayed up for New Years Eve since before Isaac was born. I know it gets boring after kids.
The 3 Cardona Sisters Vivi, Mari, and Cata! Beautiful!
Their Grandma and Grandpa from their Dad's side.
Felipia and his Beautiful wife... married less then 2 years.
Josh was at home listening for Lincoln but he came over about 11:30 to join in.

We all formed a circle (even Sadie) Martha offered a prayer right before midnight. Mario translated for us. I understand almost everything but it was nice to not have to think but just listen and feel.
We counted down and let our balloons loose and drank our drinks and ate our grapes. Then we all gave each other hugs and kisses. "Feliz Ano!"
A few people grabbed some suitcases and started on a walk around the circle. When I asked what they were doing it was explained that it was a tradition that Columbians do to bring good luck in traveling in the new year. I loved it. I should've grabbed a bag too!
Then as I was gathering up the kids to head for be I hear "no vas a quedar para la cena?" ("your not staying for dinner?")
Dinner what? Its midnight? I was wanting to dance.
And the answer was... dancing is after dinner.
WHAT???
Marianna prepared us the day before by telling us that the party would last all night long. And she was not exaggerating. We lasted till almost 1 and then called it a night. I thought I might go back and dance but I was beat.
Such a wonderful night!! And such an amazing family and culture.
Un gran agradecimiento a la familia Cardona para la inclusiĆ³n de nosotros y compartir sus tradiciones y su amor con nosotros!
